    Multi Trade/Carpentry?

Didn't get that one thanks but it's all learning. In two minds really wether to follow buildiing maintenance whichd be a softer start/time to build toolbase or jump deep end and blag as a straight out finish chippy.

Glow Worm Ultracom (1) 30CXI F9 Fault Possible Cheap Fix

I'm having the same problem outlined above and had the council here the other day to look at it but still borked. It seems the fitters didnt flush the system when the boiler and rads were swopped out a year ago so the pressure sensor is prob blocked. However.. im a bit uncertain which vlaves...

    Multi Trade/Carpentry?

I'm going to have to build the power tool collection up gradually starting with the 110v drill and transformer i already own. Not sure which way to go with this.. out and out as a chippy or allrounder. Either way my honest approach doesn't look like it's going to get me an oppportunity so i'm...

    Multi Trade/Carpentry?

Indeed, such is my quandry. Twas ever thus and for sure i've helped a ton of boys coming the other direction into shuttering. Regarding type of work etc. i do very much enjoy the good finish but am not good/experienced enough to go my own at that level. I've got a lot to learn and need to build...

    Multi Trade/Carpentry?

Ahhh right. I didn't consider the impact of Carillion (which doesn't affect our game so much). Good shout thanks on the voltage so I may as well stick to 110v as default for corded. I already have the transformer and my sds is 110 anyway but it's gonna take me a while to build up a proper...

    Multi Trade/Carpentry?

I've been a shuttering chipppy for the last 15+ years and have had enough of it. I've always wanted to do nicer work with good finishes and the cold is creeping into my bones so i want to get myself a job as a multitrader, preferably with the emphasis on carpentry.. Can i get a few tips on how...

Idea's for a bathroom pull cord switch.

Thanks.. the rivet sounds good and would make for a nice flat stop but i'd be concerned at it working loose over time. I did think of crimping a gear cable tidy in the end but didnt for that reason. I'm wondering about something self tightening, or maybe i could add a bolt/clip under the rivet...

Idea's for a bathroom pull cord switch.

HNY all .. the pull switch in my bathroom is in a bad spot. Hanging freely it is just offset from the room corner by the door and so was always caught behind the door as you opened it. Tiring of that i eventually fitted a pulley wheel to the wall so now it passes through that and hangs more...
