    Biasi 24S dhw fault

Tony, Thanks for the reply, I do believe I have water at the taps with blue valve in the off position. 2 mixer types- Shower and kitchen sink. Shower cubicle dismantled at the moment so I could remove shower mixer and stop end pipes to prove the point. Anything in particular that...

    Biasi 24S dhw fault

Hi all, I guess this is a common one? Chris R and Agile were extremely helpful when I had problems like this before. That time it was to do debris in the system. Problem: low temp dhw. Boiler fires up ok and stays on for around 30secs, off for 30secs, on for 30secs, etc, etc. CH fine...

Natural Stone floor tiles Help please!!

Hi, I've laid natural stone tiles in my hallway and did the usual clean up of grout film but I have to admit to some sloppier work when I had to regrout some of the gaps which has left thick grout residue at the edges and in the 'pores' of the tiles. To be honest, I did this the night before I...

    entry system camera wiring

I agree, depends what kit you in tend to use. 2-wire digital types are freely availabe and easy to fit/connect. With regard to the gate operation, I'm assuming you are automating them? Are you using buried or gate leaf mounted operators? It doesn't matter really as long as you have allowed for...

    Moving a CCTV monitor

Hi, Yes, you can extend the cabling (15m won't pose a problem). You should be looking to use RG59 coax (75ohm). I would need more details on the 'control' side of the install to give any info on camera connections, etc. There is a good chance you are using a remote switcher (xNo. camera...

Big thank you to Tony (Agile) and Chris R

After pulling my hair out and getting nowhere, these two guys supplied me with the info I needed to get it done. An extra thank you to Tony who stuck with it and enabled me to get the correct part, fit it and solve the problem in quick time. 4 kids and no hot water is a bad combination but now...

    Biasi 24S dhw fault

Tony, Thanks for the reply, I'm assuming you have a Biasi spares or service manual? In the spares manual the part I think you are referring to is Part No. BI1011 107 (O-ring for large plug) or is it BI1011 502 ?(smaller plug assembly). I tend to think you're referring to the large O-ring...

    Biasi 24S dhw fault

£20? Dammit!! I hadn't realised and I could've given you some business for your trouble! Oh well, I'll know if there's a next time. :) I would add that, I have a slight leak from the right side of the DV (dhw flow sw side). Can I PTFE or Hawk White the plug? Or is it due to the increased...

    Biasi 24S dhw fault

Yep, venturi and flow regulator totally wiped out. Retieved what I think is all of it (total mess). Got new entire assembly coming from Ezypart.co.uk (reasonable price too I think @ £23.57 next day to the door). Don't you just love a happy ending? :) (just hope it's in stock now :? )

    Biasi 24S dhw fault

Thanks Tony, I had a feeling I was getting to the point of narrowing it down, I just didn't know where to look next. Thanks again to you and Chris. I'll post if I'm successful.

    Biasi 24S dhw fault

Thanks for the reply Chris, to be honest I may be getting a little confused (hours sat trying different things and trying to look at things logically!). I'm certain the pump was running but I could have been mistaken. Sorry I know this is frustrating for you guys 'in the know' (I'd be the same...

    Biasi 24S dhw fault

Sorry Tony, just took a look at the manual, I get where you're talking about now. I should be able to pick up the dhw filter and pressure reducing valve kit without any trouble. Thanks again for the advice, always best to ask the experts. :)

    Biasi 24S dhw fault

Thank you Tony, I was hoping you might be the one to answer! Sorry about line 7, yes the system was pressurised when I manually operated the DV mechanism. 1. Filter/flow restrictor - right side of DV? 2. Can I avoid removing the gas valve and remove the DV instead? (I understand removing...

    Biasi 24S dhw fault

Hi Guys, I seem to have quite a common fault if the number of posts are anything to go by. Firstly let me state that I consider myself to be a competent DIYer and I am an electrician by trade so I'm not averse to a bit of tinkering but I know my limitations. And so the fault... 1. No...
