the cable was from a BMW portable DVD system, i fitted this into the car knowing there was a cable missing but when it all worked didn't think anything about this cable, its only when i saw it i thought i could use it, there are websites selling HDMI to component cables do think they would work...

i have been given a HDMI cable and on the other end is the yellow/white/red line in/out style ends, my question is could i use this to run my dvd via the component outs on dvd to HDMI on tv if so can someone tell me which colours on cable would go into which on dvd Thanks Brett

so do you mean disconnect it and just leave in place and the wire in external programmer? its just with this locating pin being broken as soon as you touch it or at the moment as soon as it switches its self on it all falls apart and switches its self off, so i guess i was just hoping to find...

I am not going to bother with the pin so just need to know what a good digital timer would be to replace this manual one with Thanks Brett

the centre pin that holds the manual timer together has broken, worcester say i need complete timer unit at about £65, does anyone know if i can get the centre pin seperatley or is it possible to replace the old manual timer with a digital type? Thanks Brett

Thats OK, my new HD TV dosnt arrive till end of June, but the deal i did with SKY had to be done this week so what i am thinking of is when the engineer turns up with box i am going to ask him to just leave me the box till i have cleared the planner either by watching what we dont want to keep...

I am just getting SKY+HD box fitted this week but still have unwatched programs on my old SKY+ box, can i fit this box to another TV to watch them or will i need the box connected to the dish, as we have some programs series linked i cant see how i can watch everything we have in the planner...
