Not sure if it's me being thick but I simply can't find any pad savers for the Bosch Universalsander...can anyone point me in the right direction pls?

We'll be moving next year so this is also just to polish up the bathroom a bit as it hasn't been done for years. As the walnut isn't dark enough am I better with either walnut or oak then adding a stain followed by a lacquer or oil?

Why is the pad saver so important and is it specific to the make and model of sander?

I did contemplate buying veneer and cut MDF then sticking the veneer on myself but I've not done it before, nor do I know how to trim the veneer off so would more than likely end up making a mess!

think it'll cost around £200 all in for the veneered panels cut to size.

Hi All, I want to replace the drawer and door fronts of our bathroom vanity unit and can order some pre-cut veneered MDF. I'm looking for a dark walnut / oak but unfortunately the darkest walnut veneered MDF I've found is too light. Can I stain this or should I order oak veneered instead and...

Thanks. Festool is certainly not in my budget unfortunately. Bosch will have to be the one due to cost. I'll grab some of those SurfPrep but not sure what you mean by Mesh is better for filler, paper for gloss?
