Hi BAS The switch is rated at 125A, it is not insubstansial, but will fit, the intake will be an IP rated interlocking socket inlet mounted outside of the meter cupboard. The generator will only be used to power lighting and heating with the design and procurement 90% completed...

Yes, they will either add an additional cable or replace what you have with a twin cable. Looks like you will be tidying your room :-)

You could try powering down the system then powering it back up again, battery first, then mains
