    Cables for Satellite etc

Ah I see, so much to thing about, unfortunately the bedroom wiring is one satellite lead and a power line next to it with no conduit. Eager plasterers and not enough thought on my behalf. :( May have to be redone at this rate! Is there no service where people come to your house and advise people...

    Cast Iron Rads

I have a 1930s house and was going to put in the standard white rads in. However I was thinking a 2 or 3 column would keep in with the traditional period of the property. A 3 column is kind of victorian/edwardian Im thinking? Would a 2 column look too modern or fit in with the Art Deco era...

Cheers mate, Im currently trying to get hold of a kit that will enable the lights to go off one by one, so hopefully may solve the problem.

    Stair led & PIRS

No just as a fetaure. I've been told the PIRs only work with a minimum of 40w, well the TLC ones.

    Stair led & PIRS

Can you use PIRs on 'plug in' leds? I was going to use them on the stairs.

Cheers mate, am i right in thinking its ok to have internal bedroom walls skimmed then? Im pretty sure the other walls i.e hall/landing are cavity as theres a gap between that and the external bricks.

    New plastering

I believe its a lime plaster, as it was built in 1932. Im wondering how the new homes cope that are built, as they use gypsum. Also if done in lime, will the walls have to be papered? Wont the paper or paint stop the wall from 'breathing'?

    New plastering
