Strange phone line setup in new house, help please

Great info thanks. Where the new bodged master is located is the wrong end of the house. Ironically where the redundant extension socket is located is close to ideal. I'm happy to completely remove the bodged master as its unsightly and not required in that location. Rather than trying to...

    Wireless alarms, honeywell, Yale etc

Hi:) Looking for opinions on the wireless alarms available on the market today. The Yale & honeywell get good reviews, a major pro is the cost. Apart from replacing batteries, What are the cons of having a wireless system? Any other advice welcome

2 different boilers on CH system replacement quotes

I do understand aircraft hydraulic systems on aircraft I've worked on. The ones I'm familiar with are sealed pumped systems at 280 bar fed under all conditions , accumulators are used for emergency one shot power generation when both hydraulic systems suffer catastrophic failure. I'm looking...

2 different boilers on CH system replacement quotes

Ah ok to store pressure and deliver when needed? I've dealt with them in aircraft hydraulic systems, I imagine it's the same principal. So if my mains is at 6 bar I shouldn't require anything like that right? Thanks again for the replies to what are probably tedious questions!
