It wasn't a roll end, and thankfully we didn't pay for the waste they just seem to be lazy. Maybe it's best if I just call them, although I know my wife will go mad at me....she thinks I'm OCD! :lol:

I have a small house with 4 rads, and a programmable theromostat.....every rad has a TRV on. Am I right in thinking this is wrong, and in the room with the thermostat the rad shouldn't have a TRV on? If so, can you buy a replacement for the TRV for this room? I know the TRV unscrews by...

Cheers John :) Unfortunetly no helpful neighbours about. So I will turn off the water, I know the GCH system pipes are lagged in the loft so these should be OK fingers crossed. And I have lagged the 22mm condensate pipe with the foam lagging it was also freezing at the end of the pipe...

Hi, I am going away for two days over Christmas. I have been having real problems with a condensate pipe which has been freezing and stopping the boiler, the last two days I have had to defrost it in the morning. I would usually just leave the heating on whilst away to stop freezing issues...

Also is there something like a t connection to put into the 32mm sink waste pipe but the T being a 22mm...if that makes sense?

Yep, it all worked fine. Only problem is 24 hours later the same pipe has frozen again!

In the clear box above where the condensate pipe enters the boiler there is about 10cm of water......should this box be empty and therefore proving the point the pipe is frozen?

Thanks for your help.......i'm checking the condensate pipe which is the white 22mm pipe....there is quite a length of it outside (about 50cm) and every time I pour boiling water over it some water exits at the other end. I have the front of the boiler off so I am going to try a few more kettles...

After pouring boiling water on the plastic condensate pipe outside it has got a slow dribble of water exiting the pipe....could I have found the prob? If not what do you mean by quote "as previous check pump"

Wouldn't know how too! The first person I called said it could be a frozen condensate pipe? Could this be the case from these symptoms?

Yep, the pressure a had dropped a little but I refilled it to recommend mark
