    Hi. Update. Ran some 1.5 twin and earth from the junction box to a 3amp fused switch then tested the end of the cable and got 240ish, what should be done with the none required earth at the fan end please? Was planning on earth sheave and a single connector block?

    Hi, yes bathroom is above the kitchen, currently the bathroom floor is chipboard which I need to remove all the old grout from, hoping to use the cement boards instead of 6mm ply to level it and provide a sound platform for the click flooring.

    I will tidy that up and whack a maintenance free box on. I should only need a live and neutral from here as I am not wiring to the light switch and the fan has a sensor on thatvwill turn it on and off. Is my plan sound please?
