Thats the effect although not really wanting to spend that much as have 24 metre in total. Maybe look to knock something up with mdf or similar.

Blagard, Sorry wasnt very clear. Block and beam is in and walls built. Builder took care of that side. I just need to bring the floor upto the same height as rest of house. So thermal , screed etc. But not sure if I need to lay a plastic barrier over block/beam floor before thermal and screed...
Update for those that may want to know.. Honeywell response to a amil i sent over.. RKP tones are fixed and cannot be turned off.
Internal speakers can be adjusted by turning potentio meter on main board, clockwise - increase and anticlockwise - decrease.

Just had 3 x 4.4 extension finished well, structure anyway with Block & Beam floor. Question to those that know is does the floor require damp membrane, and if so is it membrane, kingspan, screed in that order.??

surely one of them must be brighter than current one, ??? Even in pitch black cannot see a glimmer from rson8 LED's.. they become visible from around 6 feet away..
I have recently purchased system with honeywell Reson8 bell box.. However comfort LED's are not to my liking.. after some negotiation supplier has agreed to exchange for other honeywell boxes.. my choices are Inteliasense AG3, or AG6 or AG8.. as mentioned led's are important ..

Final update.. few delays with building work but finally have alarm installed. very pleased with ease of install and simple to program.. full protection during day with part set for nite time.. 1 dog, 2 cats and no false alarms .. pet friendlies doing there job... only down side is the reson8...

Hi Swale thanks for advice.. Kit only has 4 PIR's no window contacts.. so thought one on landing to capture movement between bedrooms during daytime. With second RKP upstairs to zone of upstairs at nite for loo breaks.
Finally getting round to the wiring as part of new extension.. Ref the kit mentioned earlier I thought I would go witth positions in drawing (sketch, poor sketch :-) small brown blobs mark the spot.. )

Re the the pet sensors, just bought a honeywell 8EP407N pet freindly kit. If I mount PIR facing inbound from (glass) front door pointing at stairs and hall. Will the cats trigger it going up the stairs. PIR's say up to 25Kgs should be fine.
