Just had 3 x 4.4 extension finished well, structure anyway with Block & Beam floor. Question to those that know is does the floor require damp membrane, and if so is it membrane, kingspan, screed in that order.??

Ta J.

Not a DPM just a DPC under the ends of the beams, it can be lower than the beams just so long as there is one there. It should already be in place.

Blagard, Sorry wasnt very clear. Block and beam is in and walls built. Builder took care of that side. I just need to bring the floor upto the same height as rest of house. So thermal , screed etc. But not sure if I need to lay a plastic barrier over block/beam floor before thermal and screed goes down.

for the sake of a roll of poly I would put it down followed by insulation then screed

A block and beam floor is a suspended floor - you don't need a DPM.
