A floating wardrobe attached to plasterboard. What could go wrong? :censored:

    Hanging Ikea Pax carcass

The thought of a wardrobe hanging off a wall just doesn't fill me with joy. If I HAD to do it is opt for a french cleat across the top and a supporting bracket underneath. Given it's an IKEA cabinet you'd have to be pretty confident in the weight of the wardrobe not sagging forward and pulling...

Chimney stack repair or take down

If they're a decent outfit then the roofers would refuse to complete the job unless the knackered stuff is properly fixed. I don't think bodging it is an option. Try to convince your neighbours to have it removed

Advice please - gap between where the wall meets the floor?

    Airbricks

Nope. There's a big cavity under a block and beam (concrete) floor, for example. Lots of air flow needed to keep it dry

B&Q Kitchen Fitting Problems - Next Course Of Action?

Tell them you'll be contacting the ombudsman and trading standards unless they remediate the situation immediately with fitters of your choice. On the surface of it they'll need some new units too so don;t be scared of asking them to remove it all and refund the lot. Have a chat with Citizens...

    Neighbour cracks in walls

Doesn't look anything major to me, what's she actually claiming / asking for? Looks like some vibrations could have caused the cracks but shrinkage is just as likely
