Could be blocked nozzle on the fill valve to the cold water tank. Could be scale blocking the inlet to to the immersion tank. These water heaters require regular de-scaling The scale in the immersion tank can build up and set like concrete witch requires chipping out with a chisel.

May well have been a gas poker attached to it in the distant past if there is no evidence of a gas fire been fitted. As others have said get it checked out by a registered gas bod and have the outlet plugged or removed and capped under the floor.

The Prima B does not have a PCB. Your problem is very likely a fault with the motorised valve. Best to get it checked out by someone that knows what they are doing. Switching the boiler off at the fused spur or plug will turn off boiler and pump.

Some more details would be helpful. If that is connected to an oil or gas boiler then it would be the condense trap. (I would suspect a Worcester oil boiler)

You won't need to drain down. Just isolate mains inlet. (open hot tap to relieve pressure)

No problem. Use a 1/2" male or female iron to 15mm copper depending what thread coming from stop cock. Screw that onto stop cock and short piece of copper or use a speedfit adapter and go straight into the fitting.
