    Ideal Isar HE24 Fault

The pins do not "tell the boiler its ok to fire" they tell the PCB which boiler its fitted to.

    Ideal ISAR combi HE24 problems

The plate heat exchanger is relatively easy to do,but ive done a few hundred,if you get it wrong you can easily flood the pcb,and other electrics and wiring, leading to an even bigger disaster/bill,remove it all first, or get a pro in.

Cracked Clay Underground Soil Pipe (with pics)

I agree with PVM.Trevor from Brookside was found a few years ago ,due to not being concreted in properly, you dont want a fat bloke trying to dig up pipes, and finding a stiff.Replace it,and get it filled in properly.

Moving Stop Cock\Water Pipe in Kitchen

If you wanted to go that route, you could dig up outside at the point where the pipe disappears under the house, then bring it up and surface run it inside, leaving the old buried inside pipe still there, but redundant.

Moving Stop Cock\Water Pipe in Kitchen

What is the pipe coming out of the floor made of? Assuming its iron, and not lead,if you follow the pipe downwards, you should find an elbow, then its just a case of unscrewing the upstand from the elbow, leaving a female thread, then use a male iron to copper elbow, and you can divert it anyway you...

Ideal Icos m3080 boiler not staying alight

The boiler should at least TRY to light,IF then there is a problem, for example, the gas supply is cut,or there is a sensor or internal fault within the boiler,THEN it will flash up a fault code, the fact that it isnt, suggests to me it is not recieving a signal to fire. If the boiler is just...

Ideal Icos m3080 boiler not staying alight

The boiler only does what its told by the system controls,if the pump is running,it sounds though the zone/mid pos valve is ok. I would check the main electrical connector under the front of the boiler. You will find live/neut/earth,and L1 and L2,the boiler works by sending 240v out through...

    Shared supply

Unfortunately, years ago many properties were connected to these shared supplies,i had lots of trouble when working for the water board in the 1980s. In the early 1900s all the houses would have had was a sink in the "kitchen"with one cold tap,and an outside bog.The one water pipe shared...
