When you open the hot tap,does the boiler respond,as in display goes to "d",then diverter moves,pump starts,hopefully boiler starts. Does it do all or some of the above,or does it not even recognise the demand?

Theres a sensor,not a flow switch,does the boiler actually do anything when a hot tap is opened?

Green flashing light is a lockout,MAY be pcb again,but could be the ignition probe,or the thermistor that goes in the top of the heat exchanger.

L9 means a lack of circulation,possibly low system pressure (you have checked it havent you?) or pump failure. The 3 lines means its overheated as youve said,but you will have to switch of the power,then back on again to get rid of it,if it happens again,you will have to get it looked at.

Can be overheat stat,top right hand on flow,check compression connections above boiler,any leakage can run down,and get onto stat causing LE or HE faults.

Ref your post on ideal pcb.test on main feed to pcb which is top left 4 way connector As you look at board,if you have 240v at connector,pcb IS knackered And is not repairable.

Thermistors should be roughly 10k at 25 deg. But they are not your Problem Generally speaking L9 is lack of circulation/overheating poss pump Or ilack of system pressure,which I assume you've checked? Other than that,I recommend you get someone in to fix it

Make sure the main electrical plug under the boiler Is connected properly I've had a few loose ones causing exactly the same problem
