wish to fit new radiator in bathroom is it ok to cap of the existing pipes to the radiator while i tile behind?
will the central heating still work properly with one rad less?
the rad in the bathroom is the one you cannot adjust the temp.
just fitting a new bathroom on pulling back the carpet around the toilet noticed it to be wet/soaking into the chipboard it smells like water really.
is this condensation? can it be cured?
hi the flooring in my bathroom squeaks and groans like mad.,
we have sheets of tongue and grooved chipboard nailed down,seems to be worst where the tongue meets the groove (the noise).
any ideas to solve this problem?

what can i do to make the plasterboard stable again,can i get a sealing paint or just emulsion over it?
will the bathroom paint stick to pva after it has dried?

but not worried when it comes to patching a wall after tile removal etc.
so looks like i can get away with sealing the plasterboard and then painting with the bathrooom type paint(not keen on artex).
pva is this any good or a special sealer to accept paint?
