Do your customers actually get them fitted or do you think it`s a fad ? All seem very expensive with ridiculous payback times. How can i say to a customer solar panels are great ,but er.. it`ll be 10-15 years before you get your money back.

Grimly The diaphragm on your water section is knackered.It can be replaced providing the screws on the water section undo.Also change stuffing box as well.Your diverter valve is fine. The diaphragm has been the underlying fault all along.You`ve needed a far to high a flow rate to get...

doesn`t have to be fan flue version. Ddin`t they make b/f version of the profile? If so it could have the sit nova 820 gas valve on it.Solenoids on these gas valves breakdown quite a lot. paul 8)

blocked venturi i bet.can cause aps to stick midway between on/off.

think motor on valve is standard synchron as on Honeywell diverter.

It was the later super medway version Agile.

Grimly Just read your OP and you said the flow was powerful-how powerful?.The flow rates for this boiler were not great -about 10/11 min approx. Was the water temp. defective before the dhw h/ exchanger replaced? The burner on these fire up at ignition rate then ramp up to full burner...

No that`s the vcw 242/282.The stat is the c/h limit stat

Have you got 240v at gas valve?

you need to get dhw ntc checked to see if boiler modulates when stat turned down.Also get burner pressure checked as if way out can cause localised hot spots in heat exchanger breaking away bits of the primary h/exchanger reulting in noise-ie kettling.

Grimly Things to check 1 Flow rate at tap. The new h/exchanger may be less restrictive than older model so give higher flow rate.I also doubt if your engineer changed the inside of the diverter valve and attended to mod to pcb.hopefully he did. 2 Gas pressure at burner...

The diaphragm on these is held on by nut screwed onto valve stem.Have had several instances where the stem has snapped when i opened water valve up.Whoever does the job will have to be careful not to snap this stem when doing repair-provided it hasn`t snapped already.If this has happened new...

I`d ask for a replacement boiler.They`ve had enough attempts to fix it.

not true.saw facia board that had come undone and fell onto flue which caused boiler to go off.

If the little led for the dhw does not come on then the first check is the dhw flowswitch and the filter into it. They do fail. I`ve even had new one`s straight out the box faulty. The switch can be stripped down and the shaft of the wheel greased. Paul
