the soil stack is plastic and runs down inside of wall at front of house and bends into drive,about halfway down drive i have a man hole that feeds 3 other propertys and water seems to run freely. :)

i would say reliable + not exspensive = bargain .... i dont want the best printer out just something decent,good value for money...

Is this anything to worry about as i was thinking of doing same to another rad as exsisting valve looking a bit corroded????

Have done a search on balancing rads but it just confused me even more.How do i know which pipe is feed and which one is return,or does it matter,they both come from the same manifold????

Ive got a microbore system in my house and have rececntly changed 1 rad and fitted new valves on another as it wasnt getting hot.The rads were fed by 2 10mm pipes connecting at the same side of the rad but i was told to fit 1 pipe at 1end and run the other to the opposite side which did using...

Have now insulated all new pipes and have double checked all rads for air but still getting knocking noise when heating fires up,it starts off quite fast then slows down and seems to be coming from under floor nxt to boiler..Not sure if its getting louder or im getting more paranoid,the wife...

Ive bled all the rads and they r ok,they get hot very quickly.I was thinking about draining system again.The valves i fitted have an arrow on the top with a + and - at each end and 10 bar written in between.Thanx 4 your reply..... :P

I will try fitting insulation,thanx..Not sure what "bi" or "trv" valves are though,the ones i fitted are standard 10mm compression valves i think.Ive put the same on both ends of rad and are both open.. :oops:
