Hi noseall, My thread was about using thermalites (Celcon's) on the inside and outside skin on one wall? I will always be using Celcon's on the inner skin - not dense. Do you see condensation issues with that? Cheers :)

Hi noseall, I am assuming you mean condensation inside the cavity? If so and the risk is quite high then I will probably avoid them. Cheers

Thanks Woody, its interesting to see noseall's response re condensation using these on both skins as I have not seen that mentioned anywhere before. Regarding the metal reinforcement... Horizontally, is it enough to expect the DPC to cope with that seeing as it would be separating the two...

Yeah, looks like the pallet went down with a wack. I had the same thing, similar cracks but on a large number of blocks. Luckily they replaced them

Thanks Stuart. It's for a conservatory and will be rendered. It's only one course of bricks left to get to dpc level as I'm using blocks below and later on I will use two courses of bricks to get to a 600mm height for a dwarf wall. So will have the same thing again. Sorry all if I wasn't clear...

From ground level to dpc it's more like 375 ish so the 150 splash rule is well above what they say.
