    Need to find out if the adhesive he used has got porcelbond in it. If they sound hollow it sounds like he hasnt got enough coverage behind the tile, get a coin and go round and tap the tiles if they all sound hollow then call the tiler back.

    The best thing to do is to get a screwdriver and score the wall at 50mm centres all the way across the wall, this will allow the adhesive to attach to the palster underneath. :wink:

    I would tile on to 15mm ply if poss on go on with flex powder adhesive. If you go for a 9mm ply you should be looking at 2 part adhesive.
