The best thing to do is to get a screwdriver and score the wall at 50mm centres all the way across the wall, this will allow the adhesive to attach to the palster underneath. :wink:

I use china pencis, felt tips are fine but if you start marking polished porcelain with a felt tip pen then you could stain the tile and you cant get it out so watch out made this mistake my self before.

Cant do without my trusted Fein machine it takes grout out of joints at 1mm thick without chipping tiles, you can also use the rasp attachment to take off adhesive, you can even buy a diamond head and remove epoxy grout :wink:

I would tile on to 15mm ply if poss on go on with flex powder adhesive. If you go for a 9mm ply you should be looking at 2 part adhesive.
