Low pressure on Mira Combiflow shower

The pipework is all 15mm and has been checked. The Yorkshire water also checked the pressure to the house and were getting more than 12l/m more like 13l/m. I think the shower is restricting the flow slightly. I think 2l/m extra would make the shower a lot more powerful as it would force 12l/m...

Low pressure on Mira Combiflow shower

Just an update, flow cartridge has been replaced and it's still exactly the same. Maybe getting 10l/m with a diff shower head on but still not the 12-13 we get from all the taps. My next thought is to get a pump that if I am thinking right will force 12l/m through the shower. Apparently the...

Low pressure on Mira Combiflow shower

It was deffo the pressure balancing cartridge they replaced last time as they confirmed so not sure why didn't do the flow cartridge at same time. Mind you the last guy who came out didn't tighten something up and I ended up with a flooded kitchen when I got home. They had to pay for redecoration.

Low pressure on Mira Combiflow shower

Spoken with Mira, they said the shower warranty expired on Dec 2014, so they are happy to send the flow cartridge out free of charge but not fit it. I will have to arrange my own plumber to this. Bit daft really considering only 2 months have passed.

Low pressure on Mira Combiflow shower

The bath taps are fed off the same pipes as the shower directly above and I get 12l/m there from both hot and cold. The new cartridge in the shower is the same as the other one they replaced. Only thing I can think is the flow cartridge that wasn't replaced but I guess that only controls if the...

Low pressure on Mira Combiflow shower

Mira said it should be capable of a much higher flow. I tried again today and I'm getting just over 10l a minute flow wise.

Low pressure on Mira Combiflow shower

I'm getting 10l/m on our Mira Combiflow shower done via the bucket test both with and without the shower head attached. We get 12l/m on all other taps hot and cold through the house. Mira came out and replaced the cartridge under warranty and cleaned the filters out. Any flow reducers or...

Radiator Trv's have been replaced but not working properly

Update as promised By 1930 this evening we have the job completed. Original engineer was going to be sent and called me asking "what the problem was" I explained that the valve bodies needed replacing. He denied they needed to be and said that they were fine and they were either on or off and...

Radiator Trv's have been replaced but not working properly

When I say warped I mean the plastic lugs had snapped off that hold it to the valve body.

Radiator Trv's have been replaced but not working properly

I'm on a service plan through home serve. He replaced all the valve heads to be on the safe side as they were all starting to warp and it would have ended up a repeat call out like it already is.

Radiator Trv's have been replaced but not working properly

Nope so I am gonna have to tell them tmrw. Is it best to replace the valve heads to match the valve body or drain down and replace all to match? The eca valve heads are more expensive when I look at it. Plus I'm concerned if they drain down they won't put inhibitor etc back in the system to...
