What is the minimum your boiler will modulate down too? Mine is a little over 7.2kW which means I have to have most radiators on to prevent short cycling of the boiler.

I think smart TRV’s can work in certain situations but are not a solution for everyone. They certainly haven’t worked for me and since removing most of them and going back to manual TRV’s on most radiators my gas usage has decreased and my comfort has increased.

Just a thought but what is the boiler flow temperature set to? Don't have it higher than 65c.

Also turn off "early start" and see if that also improves gas usage, I have a similar mode on my Wiser system called "comfort mode" but it just wastes gas IMO.

Gotcha but I was referring to how smart TRV's are able to call for heat individually just to heat their radiator and no others.

But your Octopus gas usage suggests that something is turning your boiler on periodically all day long. How have you setup the heating schedules in Tado?

How have you come to that conclusion? I have a lovely warm house with all radiators heating up in unison.

I used to have smart TRV's on all my radiators, I have now removed nearly all of them. It makes no sense heating a room at a time.

That looks like your smart TRV's are calling for heat all day long!

I would ignore what Tado says, estimating and averaging is bound to give incorrect information.
