I suspect it's because there are a number of protests planned for when he arrives and travels around the country. Any head of state that visits Britain has their security paid for by the UK - can you imagine the carnage if the UK let the visiting country sort out security? (perhaps 'carnage'...

    Pest control

You could try any of the numerous sonic/electronic devices that are around- not sure how effective they are (they claim to be better than the Pied Piper though) As a quick solution, you could always try Peppermint oil.... Rats and Mice hate the stuff, we had some in a roof space, so we put...

Out of interest, what browser are you using? If you're not already using it, try it in IE8. You'd be surprised at how many commercial sites are only ever tested against IE.

    Rusty areas on satellite dish.

disclaimer: I have nothing to do with Sky installations, satellite communications, or anything remotely sky dish/sky tv related...but.... surely the whole point of the dish is to reflect the signal into the receiver (aka the LNB)? this is a genuine question, not an attempt to...

    carpeting stairs

Maybe the OP should listen to the good advice; get a professional in who knows what they're doing, and then ask if it's ok for you to watch how they do it. Just stress that you're not a trainee carpet fitter, just an enthusiastic DIY'er

How to connect two TVs to a PS3

The expensive option: AV Amp. I have 2 HDMI going into my AV Amp, and one HDMI out to my TV. AV Amp is only really worth considering if you have a semi decent home cinema set up, and/or lots of devices to plug in and manage.
