    Whats the purpose of the tapered edge then I though it was the same principle as with for eg the t ng edge loft boards. You did not have to get them to land on a joist ? I now I am wrong just want to understand the purpose of the taper edge. Is it so you dont have to use scrim tape ?

    Just in the process of ordering the Celotex 50mm. When this is delivered and installed will it just fit tight in flush with the rafter's and then leave the 25mm gap at the back of the insulation. Or do I have to battern out the back with a 2 x 1 batten to leave the gap ?
