    Why can't you just run the SWA straight to your CU without the junction box? PLease be aware there are legal and safety implications to doing this work yourself without your LABC being informed.

    I've been asked to paint some doors, frames, skirting boards, within restaurant areas so needs to be touch dry within approx 2 hours, and hopefully not too smelly! Can anyone suggest any products/techniques on a pre-existing oil based gloss finish?

    The problem is they're not designed for each other. If you use the knockouts, the trunking doesn't cover the hole, unless you're using trunking bigger than 16mm? Better off with plastic conduit in opinion and it'll look better.

    Just a theory but could it be that you'll only use 10.8kw if its on its hottest setting?
