Tony Thanks, just curious as to what it is. There are instuctions on the side of the tank for replenishing the air gap. Its installed in an apartment block so will be 'overflowing' into a soil pipe.... I presume thats why this 'HEP' is needed. What does HEP stand for? I can't find it...

This is below the overflow/ outlet for the Megaflow cylinder. It seems to be leaking from the top of it - I think I need to drain down and reinstate the air pocket/ valve. It was only 6 months since I last did it though! Before I take it to bits and try to seal it again, what is it?!

Ah, yes. I are what you mean. I didn't think room stats went that low. Anyway, mine has a set back of 7degrees so should be okay.

Is there any reason I should piggy back this override switch onto the frost stat though and take a neutral from the boiler supply? Can you explain why the frost stat needs to override the room stat?

The Horstmanm device will turn the heating on until the time runs out or the room stat is satisfied. The way it is wired means the room stat is sort of wired in series to the frost stat. Not sure why it was does like that but it works. Anyway, this is not really helping to answe my question...

The programmer is a Hortsman Centraplus C27 and the thermostat is a Honeywell DT90e. Hope that helps?!
