Make sure the pins are pushed onto the board properly. Remove batteries from timer. Hold "override" button in for 5 secs till you get a green light. Insert batteries in reciever. Make sure temp on reciever is turned up beyond room temp. Pull switch down to on.

Taping the thread is pointless as it is the olive that creates the seal. Put some jet blue or similar around the olive and re-do.
