Sorry SPARK,
not much more I can say really.
The unit seems to be un-branded, but looks to be a generic type thing.
I need to replace the internal ON/OFF pull switch.
will look at CPC etc,,, I didn't think it was their thing,,,,,, but no harm in looking.
thanks for your advice
Hi all,
My dear old neighbour mentioned that the chain had come off her ceiling fan/light.
As she's by herself, I volunteered to have a look at it.
The chain had indeed come off the internal switch, so i've stripped down the unit to re-attach a chain/cord.
Unfortunately, where the chain...
cheers mike.
I've had a look on that site for images, but can't seem to find them. Do you know if there are any ?
Anyone know what the equivelent item would be if I need to get a replacement drill (KC1282CN) ?
thanks again
A bit late for BON op, but may help other readers.
My B&D Cordless suffered similarly.
In my case, it's to do with the rotation changer. As long as the button is pressed in far enough - no probs.
As this part 'wore' out, I eventually replaced it, & all is well again.
I still have a couple of B&D drills from when they were only 1 speed (turquoise) that are still used regularly. Must be all of 45 years young.
My main drill is an old Quattro, which is also used regularly, as is (or was) a 12v Cordless.
Although all my stuff has been used in the building...
Hi,
Any idea where I can get a Motor for my Cordless drill please ?
It's a 12v Johnson 64322 - 372742.
many thanks
If I can't fix this, i'll have to get another drill,,,,, but I've never used anything as good as this old 12v item,,,, & I rekkon I won't get as good a tool in a newer...
Hi Folks,
I need to fit a wash-hand basin. Unfortunately it doesn’t have any fixing holes,,,, or a ‘lip’ for brackets etc.
It does have two holes in both side, to take the old fashioned ‘D’ shaped brackets (see image). I think they were cast iron.
I spent yesterday going around my local...
Got it sorted thanks.
I got a 28mm compression to male threaded adapter and a 32mm plastic Female threaded adapter/insert that screws straight on to it.
thanks for reading.

Bambergaspipe:
Why waste your time writing banal retorts when it's obvious that you can't help me ?
I don't care whether you can see a reason or not. That's not the issue.
I've asked for help/advice and you've given your version - for which I thank you.
As to my own intellect, I won't...
Thanks guys,
I am replacing a wash basin. It already has 28mm copper outlet pipe that goes down to - & into - the concrete floor.
It did have a brass trap, which was purpose made as an adaptor from a 32mm (or I guess it was 1¼” in those days) waste to 28mm copper (1⅛").
At some...
I need to connect an existing 28mm copper waste pipe to a 32mm plastic waste pipe or 'S' trap on a wash-hand basin.
Is there such a thing ?
many thanks
Thanks BAHCO:
As in my original post, the 28mm copper outlet pipe goes into the concrete floor - so for the time being, changing it all isn't an option - maybe in the future.
On re-reading my post, I think it ought to read:
"Adaptor from 28mm copper to 32mm plastic" needed !
There is...
Hi Terry,
I'm no expert (!) but:
Was it a NEW install (or replacement) system ?
Does it seem to you that you are getting the right amount of water per flush ?
Does it seem to you that the flush is as vigorous as other toilets ?
Is the Pan outlet into the floor or out through a wall ...
Hi folks,
I have to replace the basin in my bathroom.
The existing outlet pipe is 1⅛"(external) copper and goes down to (& into) the concrete floor.
The basin already has a 1¼" waste.
The old - brass - 'S' trap did match these two sizes.
Is there anything around today to do the...
