She’s waiting for bg to come back, don’t hold your breath, last contract customer I went to was told a 3-4 week wait for an all off as they had ‘no’ engineers!

    plastic stop end ok?

Like Dan says, those fitting strained to breaking point underneath would be much more of a concern

    Plate Heat Exchanger swap advice?

Lots of blue roll, it’s generally the easiest of them all to do although I’m allowed to remove the side panel for easier removal cause I got a gas safe card! :-)

35 CDI Greenstar EA error after low pressure

If it’s not igniting there’s no point if there is no window to see the flame they’ll be fairly new anyway. The detection electrode does wear away but it never bends and stays in the flame even when it’s half gone. Honestly get someone in 9 times out of 10 and hours labour and a soft pencil and...

Boiler Issues - not sure what's wrong and charges for fixing it

Not familiar with that particular brand but on many potable water expansion vessels you can replace the internals. Rarely worth it in the UK due to price

Boiler Issues - not sure what's wrong and charges for fixing it

Boiler Issues - not sure what's wrong and charges for fixing it

This is true on paper, just never worked on paper. In real life the timer goes off the water contracts and the cylinder refills with stone cold water.

Boiler Issues - not sure what's wrong and charges for fixing it

wouldn’t that assume that the lost water isn’t being replenished?. Are you calculating that on the original volume or the total volume and over what time period?:-) :-)

Boiler Issues - not sure what's wrong and charges for fixing it

That would be madness. Every time you heated your water you’d lose half the tank of hot water into your ( huge) bucket and the water in your cylinder would be tepid.

    They’re almost certainly unrelated.

35 CDI Greenstar EA error after low pressure

Ea is an ignition lockout so gas supply related....check the gas is on first and then call a man in. Usually a sticking flap.

Boiler Issues - not sure what's wrong and charges for fixing it

Although, to be fair, I bet I can find plenty of heating engineers who still don’t know how to reinflate an expansion vessel correctly....especially potable!
