Perhaps you should reduce the flow of the cold water incomming to the boiler. It seems that the flow is too high for the boiler to cope with.

If your moving a rad then i assume you will be adding more pipework to the system. If this is so you will have to cut into the current pipework therefore you will have to drain the system down in order to move your rad. By cutting into the pipework you are breaking the vacuum you would have made...

Corgi, i am starting my lvl 3 which brings me into unvented systems, so i just wanted a heads up on what to expect and the potential problems that can occur. Fault finding is part of the course and i would like to have as much info as i can possible get.
