    just traced the pipes and the ballcock leads to the 15mm pipe which i know now ( with your advice) is the mains...everything else looks like you said..connection to header..with isolator valve etc etc...and i will make sure mains is turned off ( under kitchen sink :) & also fit isolator valve...
