    Viessmann Vitodens 200

I'll do that, info is in the manual, but I have to say that as we want the ability to control the temperature in the living room when we are sitting in it, a local stat in there, as we had with our last boiler, will work best for us. For whatever reason, house wired stats always seem to be...

    Viessmann Vitodens 200

In order: 1.Instructions for altering heating curve and slope/level are on 18/19 of my Service Instructions book, (code 5351933 GB 08/2007). Pages 68 -70 refer to repairs to the boiler water temp sensor. 2. A record of adjustments was kept for various movements of both the heating curve, and...

    Viessmann Vitodens 200

Thanks very much. I seem to recall fitting the WC panel required removing a link where the WC outside stat connected.

Phill, did you replace the control panel with a standard one, which I still have? Also did you fit wireless stats?

    Viessmann Vitodens 200

Thanks, I have that manual, and I used the graphs on pages 18/19 to try various different settings. Now back to Slope 1.4, level 0.

    Viessmann Vitodens 200

@Agile, thanks for that, the living room has Honeywell electronic stats on each rad., and the room temp was perfectly stable on a wired stat with the previous Vaillant boiler. I would be interested to know what this unknown parameter not in the book was. I am not a plumber or gas fitter - you...

    Viessmann Vitodens 200

Thanks Tony. The outside sensor is up under the eaves on the North side and never sees the sun. I have tried adjusting the slopes several times in accordance with the - somewhat limited - advice from Viessman, all to no avail, hence I am giving up and going with something that is tried and...

    Viessmann Vitodens 200

Thanks Phil, I think it was in the right place, just not accurate enough. The house is very well insulated, well the living room and roof is, which is what matters to us. I thought I might need a gas engineer, although I am a competent engineer myself, just need the procedure to do thisd. I'll...

    Viessmann Vitodens 200

The weather compensation system has never worked properly on this boiler despite altering slopes in accordance with the less than helpful Viessman techs. It is always too warm inside when the weather is cold and vice versa, so I would like to disconnect the weather compensation and fit an...

    Viessman Vitodens 200 Wireless stat

Hi guys, I have had the above boiler for 9 years and it has the weather compensation fitted. Unfortunately, the temperature control by the outside stat has never been satisfactory. If the weather gets colder, the inside temperature gets too warm, and vice versa, such that it is always necessary...

Thanks very much, however, as I still need the existing spur double socket, I'll fit an FCU before it to achieve what I require. Thanks for all the help.

Fused twin socket from a spur

Thanks very much, in that case is there such a thing as a fused twin socket outlet, such that I could then run a second socket spur from it?

Fused twin socket from a spur

I would like to spur an RCD twin socket (30Ma trip) off a twin socket outlet which is spurred off the ring main. Is this permitted please? Sorry if its been asked before.

How to switch Viessmann DHW off when immersion is auto on

No, I've not taken it further due to being too busy. I'm just doing it by adjusting the boiler DHW temp and the iBoost settings to choose timings for the immersion boost to switch on.

How to switch Viessmann DHW off when immersion is auto on

As usual, most informative and helpful replies, giving much food for thought. As I have already said, I am sure someone will come along with such a system very shortly.

How to switch Viessmann DHW off when immersion is auto on

Yes a 4 pipe system and no roomstat, but has a weather compensator fitted, and all controls are from the boiler panel, although I am considering a wireless roomstat as the temp sensing system on the boiler, while no doubt accurate, does not allow the fine tuning required when sitting in the...

How to switch Viessmann DHW off when immersion is auto on

Not being an expert on leccy, but I think I see what you are suggesting. As soon as the iBoost switches on, a sensor would operate a relay which would then insert a rsistance in the DHW sensor cct. Am I correct?
