had two quotes from 2 GSR's on a new combi and 7 rads but the second guy's registration is under his company's name and not his own...he would be doing it as a 'homer' job ....so not under his company's 'umbrella'....whats the consequences if I choose him? Cheers Danny

Hi there, I've decided to get a new combi and 7 new convector rads in my new home. Property is a 2 storey 3 bed semi (with 2 occupants) built circa 80-100 years ago with thick sandstone walls and high ceilings. I've had to local GSR/CH engineers around to quote...1st guy was Baxi/Potterton...

Got another thread in the central heating section but this is my other main problem. Moved into a new home about a week ago and found our indesit cooker (90cm wide, 5 gas burner ,one eletric oven model KP9507 EB(x)G is taking about 40 minutes to get to 200C...anyone got any ideas on this? temp...

Hi there, Moved into a new home about a week ago and (amongst other things) and have found that the radiators are only marginally heating up (luke warm after 2 hours at max setting and room stat at 25C Have bled and re-bled all radiators which are all full open ...... hot water is working fine...
