From a Linux perspective, whack Linux Mint.on a bootable USB stick, run it from there and then install to SSD.
Not sure whether same is possible with Windows
I have the HP Envy 5000 with rented ink from HP, for £3.99 per month. Suits family of 4 ok.
But, Harry makes a good point. I don't have the room on my desk for a laser.
Hi all,the original Nikon battery for my D80 will no longer charge, and the mickey mouse replacement lasts about 5 mins.
Are genuine batteries costing £50 the way to go, or do some get on OK with certain copycat batteries please?

Hey, I'm a light sleeper and live in a quiet area.
Most nights vans will bump over a speed hump near front of house accelerate away and wake me up.
Anyone have any ideas please that help maintain sleep?
Earbuds keep falling out. Beer works, but sadly I can't drink every night ;-)
Thanks very much.
With your router plugged into one mains socket, connect an ethernet lead from back of router to a powerline plug in an adjacent mains socket. That powerline acts as a master and can feed several slaves, dotted around your house.
The slaves are best chosen with wifi option to give both ethernet...
Point to point ethernet is preferably , but my tplink powerline plugs are fine.
A router wont care whether u already use freesat and freeview in your TV, they're independent. Do your TVs have an ethernet in?
