New Wooden Headboard Needs Split In 2 Professionally, Joiner Or DIY?

The smaller end got up ok and so did the boxes with the side rails and straps. I dont see any joints at the ends but everything looks well glued, i am thinking a lot of damage could be done trying to prize the top board off. I know sawing vertically would not be ideal but i think it might...

New Wooden Headboard Needs Split In 2 Professionally, Joiner Or DIY?

I live in a rented old cottage house type property, the staircase is stupidly designed and only small things can go upstairs ie my bedside cabinets, the 90 degree bend at the bottom makes it impossible for some furniture to get upstairs. I already have had to send a chest of drawers back because...

Heating Not Coming On When Stat Is Turned Up - Baxi duo-tec 28 he

This fault exists with the newer wall thermostat and it happened with the older dodgy one. When the thermostat clicks on sometimes the boiler does not fire up for the heating. Its an intermittent fault and i have the boiler set to on at all times. When the heating does not start i need to go to...

I Need Advice On Setting For Boiler & Radiators Please

I still want to be comfortable in the house. It annoys me to have the bathroom roasting hot in order to keep the rest of the house warm, since setting the boiler to 65 its not so bad and the rest of the rooms are warm enough too. I have mentioned this to the landlord that the wall thermostat...

Baxi Combi Instant 105e - Pressure Dropping 3 Times A Day

would inhibitor help my problem with air in the boiler? It most obvious when its switching from ch to hw and then back to hw. If i just leave it on hw mode its fine, when the ch is running its quiet, only when its changing from one to the other.

Baxi Combi Instant 105e - Pressure Dropping 3 Times A Day

I could only afford one treatment, others were saying its not limescale in scotland, i thought DS3 was suited to limescale so i thought i would go for something for rusty sludge, i did not hold much hope for this working but i wanted to try something. Fortunately this has worked, im so happy...

Baxi Combi Instant 105e - Pressure Dropping 3 Times A Day

Tony, my kettling has stopped, i put x400 in my system over a week ago and now it has stopped kettling when the heating and hot water are on full. What a relief. I just thought i would update you. Ill drain it out in a few days and add inhibitor. I still have a sound like air swooshing inside...
