    help with heating/water

You are going about this the wrong way. What boiler/ model What faults. What test/checks have you done. Where is the actual failure point now. Your competency leaves something to be desired, no offence intended.

YIPPY YI YAA. I can understand your anger, but the post is in reply to raden and is tongue in cheek, this is not the real world, its an internet forum. Chill, don't take life so seriously.

Two reasons not to let a CORGI in your house

The statement you made on your first post was and is only your own interpretation of the law and is not actually the law, if you fail to realise that fact, then no one will ever convince you otherwise. The fact that no definition of diy gas work exists does not make it legal. Diyers can and...

installing a gas hob and oven

Hobs are mainly plumbed in rigid pipe work, although some manufactures specify flexible hoses, all comes down to their instructions, the reverse is the norm on gas oven but same rules apply, supply needs to verified that it can supply the necessary flow. Wall units will have to required...

    Which combi boiler make?!?!?!

You will not go far wrong with either the Bosch or Vaillant, and yes everyone will give you a different opinion, better to have at least a 28kw, which will give you a better hot water flow rate, assuming of course someone has at least checked your mains pressure and flow. There does not seem to...

    Continuity

Firstly, thankyou for the replies. No, I have'nt made any alterations yet. I wanted to be sure of the condition of the circuits beforehand. I test everything before starting, comes from experience with gas installations. Really not 100% confident with my test meter Megger MFT1502, ten...

Yes, I suppose the mark upon electrical components is such a rip off. I only managed to clear £3800 today but had to work till 7pm, but still there's always tomorrow.

NO HOT WATER - VOKERA RS 20-80 FLOWMATIC

Around £100 plus parts, if you can get hold of DP. More like an overhaul than a service. Last service kit I bought for this model was £26 plus vat.

    Vaillant Turbomax 242E

Chris, the comment was tongue in cheek, because of your reply to the OP. Manuals are difficult to come by, as they are to be left with the installation, my stock of originals were given to me by customers having replacement boilers. The internet has been a great help, if only more...
