For the deck to be level, the bottom end will be around 4-5ft above the ground to make it level with the other end which will sit at or around ground level.
Do i need planning permission under the above 0.3m rule? Seems a...
I say have a go.
I'd manage all that ok. Check out shower panels (aquapanels) instead of tiling. Theres not much wrong with the white suite so why not keep it?
Fair play. You dont know til you ask or have a go.
Strictly speaking turning the valve off isolates the radiator and not the valve anyway. Perhaps I shouldnt be giving advice.
Touch the pipes either side of the valve in the picture with the shower running.
Other than that, does that shower have a thermostatic cartridge? Edit. I see youve had it off the wall.
Because they will be a system cleaning chemical designed to be left in for a certain length of time. Any longer and itl eat away.
Presumably he'll drain the system and add inhibitor.
If it from where the pipe enters the bottom of the valve there is no way to stop it leaking other than doing it properly.
The join needs to be remade.
But you could try tightening the nut slightly but risk making it worse.
