Making good on horsehair plaster removal

I guess I'd want to be fairly confident that the source of the water had been addressed before looking at how to decorate...

My window sill is a rectangle, my window reveal is a trapezoid :-(

If you're confident to cut it, you could do so so that the edges are parallel with the walls either side, then put some white filler either side.

    Flashing for lean to greenhouse

If it was mine I"d replace the wood with a plastic plank, so it doesn't rot, then use stainless or decking screws to fix it. Is water getting into the greenhouse a problem?

What to ask before having solar panels installed

Have a look for relevant threads here: https://www.speakev.com/forums/power/ You have nothing to lose, and potentially a lot to gain, by getting a smart meter. Have a look into Time of Use (TOU) import and export tariffs When you get more specific information about the offer (eg; panel kW...

    Ivy, how bad is it?

There's been a shift in recent decades to take a much more relaxed view of ivy than previously - it'll act as insulation, keeping the wall warmer in the cold, and cooler in the heat, and provide food for birds in the winter. There's some solid info here...

Using gypsum with lime plaster wall

Personally I use lime putty plaster for this kind of job, for the big patch, and for the cracks, not because of concerns about breathability, but because it goes off much slower so I'm less scared of using it as an amateur than I am of using gypsum. It is harder to get hold of and more...

    Woodworm Treatment Company Surrey/Sussex Area

I think you may not be getting replies because it really is just a matter of splashing some treatment on, and making sure you keep an eye on them, and keep them dry in future. There is a treatment which I've used which is really easy, and would get round the problems of chemical smells etc...

Removing old wax and dirt from oiled floor (not by sanding)... what machine?

It sounds like I'm not offering anything useful to you - I don't think there's a way we can compare the difference between osmo and linseed&beeswax in how they pick up and retain dirt without it being on the same floor with the same use and cleaning regime - I think all we'll learn is that...
