    The picture of the rear of stat would be used on an underfloor heating element. Same back as a flexel flooring stat front different though. NTC floor sensor, 1-2 element and LN self explanitory

    Is the new tank a top outlet type or bottom outlet? Easier to take off flexi hose and discharge into bucket if bottom outlet so it runs freely. If top outlet you will need to pump though oil first and check for non return valve. Reconnect and bob's your uncle after a couple of resets.

    Programmer usually controls the motorised valves which in turn control the boiler to give separate hot water and CH control. Bit odd if prog wired direct to boiler only.

    Oh my, nearly fell off the settee. That's why I would use coated copper and at least formed bends. Visible plastic looks pants.

    A Janus 3 is direct to cylinder so indirect coil not required. If it was a the 6 version I would use a coil and run a couple of rads off it.
