Hi, I need a new garage roof and was wondering whats the best to go for? I don't want felt as it doesn't last that long, but was looking at fibreglass and epdm rubber? what garage roof would you reccomend? Thanks

I've put a line around the piece I'm trying to unscrew, however it;s just going around in circles? is this the right piece to unscrew to remove the valve?

Need some help, I'm trying to replace the bathroom tap valve it's hardly turning on I've taken the unscrewed the top However I'm now using a wrench to try and unscrew the hexagon piece near the top but it's just turning and not coming loose? any help would be appreciated

thanks for the reply how do I work out how much of a fall I put on each slab? the slabs are 450mm textured the water fall will go onto the lawn

Would a digital spirit level work? the slabs are 450mm square so how much of a fall would I need per slab? Thanks

Hi, Need some advice, I'm replacing some paving slabs which in total is 22ft x 4 ft but was wondering about leaving a fall for the water to run off, is this easier enough to do and could you explain what I have to do? Any help would be approached Thanks

Thanks for the help you're right, the light is connected on the same switch as another outdoor light which is working fine. the red cable was already in there, also the like string cable thats connected to the opposite side of the red and the blue, the metal bit coming into the terminal...

Thanks a lot for your help So like both the blue metal conductors don't have to touch each other? I would have thought the the metal conductors would have to meet each other and touch in the middle for the electric to connect?

all I need to know is when you screw the wires down do you screw the plastic down or the metal wire at the end of the cable? also when you connect each cable in the light is the metal end of the wire meant to touch the metal end of the wire the opposite end? Cheers

It's 3 cables, 1 Brown 1 blue and 1 green and yellow, I've connected the colours to match the opposite end however the light isn't working. I've screwed down the wires. have the end metal bit of wires that are already in the light got to touch the end metal bit of the wires you put in...

thanks so when I put all the cables in the light has all the cables got to be touching the cables the opposite end? then screw them down? sorry if this sounds stupid but I have no idea.

Hi, I'm trying to replace an outdoor light, so basically just taking the old wires out the old light and putting in the new one However when I unscrewed the the light I noticed the earth cable wire: it's 2 earth cables in one connection whilst the opposite end hasn't got nothing in...

Cheers for the quick response, I was looking at a new lockshield as I need the fitting to put in the other side of the radiator. However on copper pipe which is there now, I've got a 15mm blanking nut on the TRV side, I tried putting one on the lockshield side, however a 15mm one was too...

Need some advice, I've removed an old radiator to fit a new one., However need the fittings for the new radiator So I'm guessing I'll have to buy a new radiator TRV to get the fittings, So I might aswell fit a new TRV? How would I tell what size I need as they come in 10mm and 15mm...
