Does anyone know of a check valve that has a hexagonal body so that a spanner can be used, the standard valves I'm using are difficult to hold with a grip; slipping and each time the body of the valve is damaged; scratched when trying to tighten the nuts at each end.

I'm fitting a McAlpine Bidet Trap and have discovered in their booklet that because it's a 19mm water trap it must NOT be connected into a Soil Pipe. My only conclusion is that this may be due to suction and possible risk of emptying of the trap when the pan is flushed, if it can't be connected...
