    Trumps Gaza peace deal?

And? Does that mean there should be no response to their murderous attacks?

    C-Plan.. S-Plan... Drayton Wiser? Help :)

In the meantime, you could use it as C-plan. There are 3 versions, attached. As you have a cylinder stat it should be straightforward to make it C-plan+1 Edit just noticed the pic in #1 shows a zone valve. If that is motorised you could do C-plan+2 Edit No. 2! The valve is in the wrong place...

    C-Plan.. S-Plan... Drayton Wiser? Help :)

Unless somebody corrects me, I believe both the flow (and return) pipes connect to a common space inside the boiler, so you can just blank one off and pipe to the other.

    C-Plan.. S-Plan... Drayton Wiser? Help :)

Vented or unvented doesn't affect how the system is controlled on the primary side.

Mystified by a 3 port valve problem

All the rads returns must be commoned before the HW cylinder return connection. If not, there'll be the symptoms you describe. Can you do a sketch of the system showing the relevant connections?

    Car fag lighters

Some interesting developments from visit to bro yesterday. I tried the adaptor in #6 (which I didn’t have with me on the previous occasion), and to my surprise, it worked. My first thought was this is embarrassing, I didn’t try hard enough earlier, but when I had another go with same adaptor as...

Of course, but what has that to do with my comment on morqthana's post?

    Gravity or Pumped?

Is the photo on the first floor, with boiler on the ground floor? HW cylinder also on first floor? Pipework is 22mm. Doesn't look like that to me, but you're on site! Hard to tell what the various pipes do. It would be a squeeze, but you might fit a 3-port directly above the current CH pump...

    Gravity or Pumped?

If you remove the HW pump and change to C-plan, a couple of things. Gravity HW was (pretty historic now) piped 28 or even 35mm. If yours is 22mm it might not work too well. And as ericmark said, you will still get reverse flow through the HW cylinder when the pump runs. How difficult it is to...

    Car fag lighters

Thanks Harry, very interesting. It looks as if there is a centre contact for the one on a USB adaptor to reach. Perhaps I didn't push it in hard enough, as the bishop said to the actress. I'll try again next time I'm there, and take a pic of the socket.

    Car fag lighters

As far as the contacts are concerned, they all look like mine, pic #6, which works in the Hyundai, but not in the Volvo. I'll post a photo of the Volvo socket

    Car fag lighters

Yes, I remember that when using a plug-in satnav. Nowadays I use the in-built satnav or Android Auto, via the car USB port

    Car fag lighters

As I said, new one on me, not that I've much occasion to study them! I will next time I'm there. Meanwhile this is one from the internet, it looks like the ones I've seen in the past, and I think his will be similar. I can't see any sign of that needing a centre contact.

    Car fag lighters

I'm pretty sure that, with the centre contact, would work with a USB adaptor. I doubt bro's looks like that, but I'll check next time I'm there.

    Car fag lighters

Not with you. Do you mean a USB adaptor didn't work with the original one in the car? Clearly if you replace that with an appropriate socket it will work.
