Yeah it definitely isn’t suitable if the pipe moves back. I couldn’t get in the wall to clip it, but i frilled either side of the ply and fed a couple of cable ties through to pull the pipe tight against the wall. Time will tell I guess I’ve emailed aqualisa aswell for confirmation on it.

The two parts in that photo you an see was there. There isn’t any room for anything else to fit. It’s setup to take 15mm but you can twist the outerplastic part out via the larger lugs, remove the 15mm part and then it accepts 22mm part.
