    shower cable 6.0 or 10.0

Hi all. I was looking into what size cable needed for a 9.5kwh shower and the general consensus is to use 10.0 Having read why with regards to voltage drop, is it mainly down to if the cable is insulated anywhere? (and the length of run) My set up will be from CU, under floorboard...

    Wiring confusing of RWB2 timer

Hi Stem, I was aware that I could not have CH on its own. My initial problem is I have straight swapped the programmers and in theory it should work, but it isn't. I've done a new drawing tonight, hope it helps and makes sense.

    Wiring confusing of RWB2 timer

Hi again Mandate, sorry for late reply had to put it on hold. No I did not change the backplate.....so that's a route to look down. Having looked again at my system I do not have a 3 port valve, only a 2 port valve. Hot water go's up into the HW cylinder and at the top of the coil there...

    Rainwater strap boss?

Thanks for the info all, My dad did say about just runnign 32mm waste pipe down the wall and into bottle trap......but I think that will look really naff. It does seem that Hugh's 'bodge' is going to be the only way, unless I just drill a 32mm hole in the side of downpipe, stick waste...

    Rainwater strap boss?

Sorry yes, the rainwater pipe is standard size, I'm not sure why I stated 3 inch! (blonde moment) IS there a reason why this does not seem to exists? As I said in o/p I can not fit a standard hopper as the area it would foul the folding doors :(

    Rainwater strap boss?

Hi all, I'm sure they must exists but I'm dammed if I can find one to buy anywhere. I need to connect my bath waste to rainwater down pipe which is to a combined foul and surface water system. Where the waste exits the wall there is no rooom for a hopper head and need a strap boss or any...

Mains leak - possible damager to foundations?

Well it seems they are responsiable from mains to stop tap at the footpath some 40m away :) So the pipe that is leaking is mine....well, mine and the other 5 homes it supplies but anyway it does beg the question when they felt they were allowed to keep the lead they took out :?: I am...
