    Foundation info

Hi There you got a picture. Couple of years ago i helped my mate put decking down and moved earth to make an area big enough as he had a sloping garden towards the house. We dug out level and put in 4ft concrete fence posts and the concrete base panels 2 high. We installed them on a slight...

    Summer house walls?

Its good for fixing and you can give it a couple of coats of emulsion too. 90 fine so you will use 4 x 2 for the frame work.

    Summer house walls?

Hi there. Yes it to make it water proof. I'd be inclined to have the OSD as the internal wall then the framework with the timber frame wrap followed by cladding. https://www.insulationsuperstore.co.uk/browse/ceiling-roofing/breather-membranes/timber-frame-permeable-breather-membranes.html...

    Garden shed and other projects

Sorted my little error with the side panel and cracked on when no rain yesterday. Putting side panels in and going to make a start on the roof before the front. Going to go with the door in the middle i think but first i got to measure the spacing for the bikes so they fit in neatly each side.

Do unvented cylinders work in a power cut?

My heat only boiler was a god send when a large fire damaged overhead cables and we had power cuts. Soon as it was on i popped the hot water on so we had water. The issue was a big one but the power company installed temp generators at the substation in the end quite quickly when realising the...

    EPDM fix - remove wrinkles

You have any luck with this. EPDM for a simple garage can of been done in one piece. If you voom in it looks like you have joints on that roof and also i'd say they weren't very good as the lettering on the rubber shouldn't be on show.

    Anyone here Furloughed?

I'd be very careful signing something as regards to wages. Some crafty firms will be trying to short change employees now and watch out for the wording of things too. They may try and slip something in about paying no redundancy if they fold. Check out Acas . Maybe some help and advice there...

    Chimney (Temp) Support / Removal

Roofer probably won't touch the chimney stack for dropping unless on scaffold. A new roof won't involve anyone coming in the house. You may get a family run roofer like tiger says but may not get scaffold. Again i know your itching to get going but best wait till Corona settled down a bit...
