    I do realise that Tony and my electrical engineer friend did suggest the relays could be replaced as you have suggested......but as I could pick up a NEW PCB with relays from ebay £50.....that sounded a damned good deal. Kind regards, Steve

    Tony.....not an expensive mistake at all( £50 on ebay, new part)......the relays were burned out on the original, if you tapped them they would spark and there was contact and the boiler would burst into life immediately...a friend who is an electrical engineer also confirmed the fault...
