    Lol thankyou fmt my thought also. Anyway I've worked out what to do now. I'm going to mortise the hinges in myself and pull the frame back to the wall take up the 12mm chunks he cut out the bottom of the frame on the sill. Will take some pics of finished and repost.     Door hinges not motised in

    I had some guys do some carpentry work. Most has been very good. But this door frame has left me confused. It needed reducing down to fit but internally the hinges aren't mortised in frame. Is this OK? Also some big chunks cut out the sill that's alot of silicone ?

    How do you securely mark your batteries and tools? (Anti theft)

    Over the years I've lost count how many Makita batteries I have 'lost' where i have worked with other trades or had trades working in my home to find batteries missing. I'm thinking of a deterrent even if each battery is dayglow green with my name perm etched on it. Thoughts suggestions welcome

    How do I solve this. Grounds man left this mess as you can see bend makes the ground drain sit too high above path surface I need a shorter 90 bend somehow. Pic attached perspective doesn't show it right the 90 bend does sit below ground but the drain doesn't.

    One more question do I cut the upvc sill to fit the width if opening? Or do I cut it wider and cut the corners to fit the right depth I'm note sure why but see some of our existing window sills have been cut like this.

    I have a Hychika leaf blower, its so dam good but one of the 4.0ah batteries has failed. Well it wont charge at all and the batt test button will not light up. I was considering taking the pack apart and replacing the 18650 cells, any advice? Not done this before i believe i need a spot...
