    Must I use immersion heater cable or will heat resistant cable suffice?

    3183TQ is a Butyl rubber sheathed cable. 3093Y is a PVC sheathed cable. Both would be suitable for the load & the temperature. My personal preference would be the butyl sheathed cable

    As far as I'm aware there are no auto-tap changes on the 11kV transformers in the UK. Its 33kV and above. Most distribution transformers are set (using manual off load changes) to have a secondary voltage of 433V off load

    Unless you have F-gas certification, a vacuum pump, set of refrigeration gauges, cylinder of gas & a recovery cylinder..... legally, you can't. I'm afraid to need to take it to a refrigeration engineer and hope it contains a refrigeration gas which is still legal.

    The refrigeration system should operate with the temperature of the evaporator slightly above freezing. This is to prevent a ice forming on the evaporator. This temperature is a function of the system pressure. A low charge of refrigerant is the classic cause of this problem.
