Vaillant eco plus 937 new from box and not working

Unfortunately this can happen. Vaillant will come out and replace the pcb and check the boiler is working safely. But it will still be the responsibilty of your installer to fully commision the boiler and fill out the benchmark

jaguar 24 combi boiler making noise

Not sure about your noise would need more info but flashing mode light means your pressure is getting low. Press the mode button and it will tell you the pressure in the heating system. Top up to between 1 - 1.5 bar when the heating is cold.

New boiler/power flush - am I being misled?

My only comment is why didn't the installer check to make sure everything was working before he finished. How many good installers leave without checking all the radiators work properly after fitting a new boiler. Sounds to me your installer rides around on a horse shouting YEE HAA all the way...

HOW TO CLEAN A HEAT EXCHANGER

Secondary heat exchangers can be cleaned but never as good as just putting a new one in. On the Jaguar make sure you have a pack of o rings as they do not seal up well after being disturbed. As for the vaillant if its the 937 are you getting f81/f91 fault. Vaillant have recently updated the...

Glowworm 30cxi boiler - water running out /filling tap

This is a very common fault. The bit thats leaking is part of the built in filling loop a brass disconnector. If its pouring out then maybe replacement is the best bet. If its just a drip sometimes they will stop. The connections have changed recently from the plastic elbow being screwed in to a...

WAILING BANSHEE NOISE FROM NEXT DOOR ... HELP

Does it sound like a high pitched trumpet playing. If so it could be that he has put a new condensing boiler with a stainless steel heat exchanger in. If these are put onto a dirty system or as you say he has gas bottles and not been converted properly to LPG both can cause this noise. If it...

    Underfloor heating

You will only need one boiler to do a combination of a radiator and UFH system. Usually a underfloor heating system will be controlled with a manifold if it is doing multiple rooms. Each room will be controlled by its own thermostat. One thing that will be required is a blending valve to keep...

    Combi boiler pressure drop

If your pressure is climbing when the heating is on then its definitely gonna be a problem either with the expansion vessel or possibly a blockage to the pipe connecting the expansion vessel to the system. If its the powermax he i think the expansion vessel is connected with a flexible hose which...

Brain-teaser - another untraceable leak problem

The only other way I have come across pressure drop with no signs of a leak is when the coil is pinholed on a vented cylinder. The water in the heating system will be lost into the cylinder then comes out of your hot tap when you turn it on.

    New Boiler

As long as the vaillant is installed on a clean system this is an excellent combi. The boiler has had issues in the past but all been addressed and sorted out. Added to that if something does go wrong it will be alot easier to get parts for a vaillant than a viessmann. Unfortunately boilers do...

    potterton puma 80 ?overheating problems

Hey muppster dont listen to these clowns on here your problem is the wax valve diverter when you turn tap off the diverter is too slow to open up the heating circuit therefore boiler cant "dump" excess heat into the radiators causing your overheat problem
