Easy heat is deciding what flow temp is required to achieve room temp. As room gets closer to target temp it reduces flow temp

You can only work on unvented cylinders if you hold a current G3 qualification.

the boiler you have is a heat only boiler. unless you have glowworm smart controls fitted then the hot water function is not used. ( this control panel is used on the combi version boiler as well). the boiler only uses the heating temp. it uses controls to decide whether it heats the hot water...

Filter setup for 2 pipe arrangement doesn’t allow for air release. Each pump should have an separator or the return lines should go back to the tank. Unless I’m mistaken it looks like the return lines link back to the flow lines.

Are you sure the boiler is still heating when stat turned down ? The boiler has an overrun after stat satisfied which keeps the pump running for up to 5 mins.

how big is the cylinder? and how long are you showering for? some of the newer showers can use 18 to 20lt/min water. the drencher types can be nearer 25lt/min so a 200lt cylinder with a mix of hot and cold would only last 15mins or so Max. people are always in a shower longer than they realise

when it is in code 8 you will have the fan running and the pump. it is doing that. points towards the diverter valve stuck in hot water position. take the actuator head and check that the pin moves up down. guess its stuck down in hw mode
